Can I get refugee status in the country?
You can be granted the asylum if you have a well-founded fear of being persecuted in your home county or your country of permanent residence because of your origin, religion, nationality, membership in a certain social group or political opinions. Another requirement is that you cannot rely on the protection of the authorities of your home country or country of permanent residence because of the persecution you fear.
