Do I need an international passport to cross the border?
No, it is sufficient to have a Ukrainian internal passport.
In the absence of any identification documents, you can apply for refugee status. In this case, you must provide all available personal documents that contain your name.
Can I cross the border with other documents (my national identity card, driver's license, copy of my passport, documents in electronic format on the Dia app)? What happens if I do?
If you have a Ukrainian ID card or a driver's license, you can apply for refugee status or for temporary protection. In the absence of such documents, you can apply for refugee status and go through the identification procedure (based on available documents containing your name).
The documents in the Dia app are not currently considered to be identification documents in Sweden.
Do I need a Covid vaccine or a PCR test to cross the border?
Can I cross the border with my pets if they have no documents?
According to the official position of the Swedish authorities, decisions to allow Ukrainian animals enter without documents is made on a case-by-case basis. In practice, all animals are currently allowed to enter Sweden. Only in exceptional cases an animal will be quarantined.
Is a car insurance certificate ("green card") necessary to cross the border by car?
