You can ask the municipality (The citizen service) if you qualify for other social benefits. You can get housing benefits if you are renting an apartment or house. The amount depends on your situation (primarily your income, the number of children in the household and parameters) and the apartment. You can apply for benefits at the citizen service here When you are granted unemployment benefits you will weekly be called in for conversation/interviews with a job adviser at the โJobcenterโ in order to get you employed. Parents may be entitled to for a financial daycare subsidy (fripladstilskud), which may reduce or entirely cover the parental contribution, provided the parents meet the conditions in the Day Care Act with regards to this.
